I worked as Tempo’s Senior Brand Photographer for two years. During that time, I photographed hero portraits of our coaches and trainers for our live classes, which were featured in-app and on our website. Art-directed lifestyle shoots for branding and website, which offered an opportunity to feature our products at home.

Photographed and art-directed headshots for our fantastic, diverse crew of personal trainers and coaches. And art directed and photographed our first fitness apparel line launch.

I also worked as Resident Home’s Senior Photographer for two years. When I started at Resident, there were no creative guidelines or direction to speak of; we literally started from scratch. We knew that bringing our mattresses into homes, and selling a realistic, elevated lifestyle, was everything we wanted to be.

With soft, naturalistic lighting, we achieved an almost ethereal look with minimal, neutral environments that felt real. Resident eventually founded four unique mattress brands, as well as a home goods and furniture line. We photographed them all. We even created some fun personas for “Napfluencers” that allowed us to play with color and costuming

While at Benefit Cosmetics, I was promoted to Senior Photographer as well.

I photographed campaign assets in our internal studio, often working in tandem with commercial shoots at external agencies. My photographs saved the company thousands of dollars and outperformed the assets we captured externally.

I also worked as personal photographer for Maggie and Annie Ford-Danielson, the co-founders’ daughters. We produced commercial photo and video assets together that aided in personalizing Benefit, and furthering their PR engagement.

I also art directed and photographed all of our product images for digital marketing and purchase pages.

I’ve freelanced for some wonderful clients.

Including creating the first ever marketing assets for Ouster, the self-driving lidar sensor developer, whose technology has helped guide and develop the self-driving car market.

As well as working with Olympic-qualified runner Anna Kacius and her sponsor, OS 1st Socks, to create marketing and social assets that paired with her record-setting 100K in Germany.

Weddings 💍

Beyond working as a corporate photographer, I love to photograph weddings. I believe in getting to know couples, and creating memories with them that depict fun, love, friendships, and often chaos.

I look for kinetic, human moments that exist beyond the glamor of what’s expected from wedding photos, and find time to connect with the silly moments that tell the full story of that special day

Landscapes & Travel ✈️

But my true love, other than my wife, is landscape photography. The juxtaposition of humanity against our grand, majestic world.

I look for sights that no one has seen before, because that is the beauty of photography: the beheld moment that has never existed before.

I’ve traveled the world with my camera, and have literally hiked from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail, bringing my camera with me to capture our gorgeous world.

Portrait 📸

Like my landscape work, portraits are a labor of love. I photograph friends, loved ones, hikers, colleagues, influencers, and every day people. If you can photograph a human, and capture the light inside of them, then you can photograph anything.

Pets 🐶🐈

I also photograph pets.
